See the incredible photo-realistic works of one of Australia’s most well known street artists—Luke Cornish (aka ELK)—in his new solo exhibiton, Have A Go, opening at aMBUSH Gallery Kambri this August.

Showcasing over 25 breathtaking stencil works of varying sizes, created from photographs Cornish took during his trips to war-torn Syria, the art gives audiences an insider’s perspective on the life these civilians now face. The Syrian works are displayed alongside art that’s a commentary on the state of democracy in Australia, produced off the back of Cornish’s (Not) Welcome To Bondi mural, which has attracted wide levels of media attention and public support in recent times.

Opening night is Thursday, 29 August, from 6pm–9pm and will include drinks by Capital Brewing and music from a local DJ. This is an event not to be missed for art aficionados, collectors and those looking to engage in a discussion about the power of art to reveal, provoke and incite change.

The exhibition will continue daily from 10am to 6pm weekdays and 12pm to 5pm on weekends until Sunday, 29 September.
