A new exhibition by Douglas Téo opens today throughout several locations across the streets of Melbourne. The exhibition features a collage of over 200 posters on display in key locations over the next 4 weeks.

Hostilizado is a provocative visual art installation, born on the streets of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The greatest icon of Western religious culture has been referenced as the character for this contemporary piece. The intimate, personal religious context coupled with the contrast of baroque shadows delivers an experience that propels us toward self-reflection.

Raw and honest, this compelling narrative has been launched for the first time today in Melbourne, and will be shared throughout the world to foster bonds of identification—not with a hero, but rather with those alienated, invisible and excommunicated from society.

Hostilizado invites you to journey sensorially and sentimentally, through confrontation, isolation and pain; toward redemption, inclusion and change. More details about this free exhibition can be found at Hostilizado Website, Facebook and Instagram.

Offering free access for the public, Hostilizado features over 200 posters on display in key locations. This exhibition was created as a vehicle for social change.
