IML International Women's Day

IML's annual International Women's Day (IWD) seeks to change Australian society for the better by creating, supporting and championing women in Leadership.

With company policies like affirmative action, maternity leave and blind recruitment helping to combat the pay gap and the glass ceiling, Australia is making progress towards equal representation of genders in business. While there is still considerable progress to be made, it seems that the importance of feminism is now more widely embraced than ever.

Now, it is not the question of whether we will achieve equality in the future, but how we will achieve it. This year's official IWD theme is #Balanceforbetter. From grassroots activism to worldwide action, we are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects balance. We notice its absence and celebrate it's presence.
