Jacques Barrett – Boom-Jacqua-Laka – Sydney Comedy Festival

2019 sees our (your) Jacques enter his 10th official year as a full-time touring road-comic. A decade as a pro, well loved by his peers, he’s a bona-fide international headliner. Festival shows in years past though have always had a heavy focus on wordsmithery, the riddles, and the punchlines: Boom-Jacqua-Laka instead values what is important—a sound-effects board, smoke machine, and a jumping castle (pending negotiations with Nugget from the Central Coast).
