Multi-Instrumentalist Jay Hoad is back in Australia after a huge year in 2018, touring throughout Europe, India and the Pacific Islands, performing at some of the biggest festivals on the planet. He will be performing at in Fremantle at the Sonar Room on Thursday May 9th, kicking off his Australian Tour which will run throughout every state in Australia over the upcoming months.

Hoad was in Australia at the beginning of 2018 performing at Tamworth Music Festival NSW as well as shows in Victoria, Queensland and the Adelaide Fringe in SA. Last year Hoad performed over 160 shows across 15 countries, and this year is shaping up to be very similar with festival performances scheduled for India and Europe, including him just being announced for WOMAD in the UK.

“Looking so forward to the show at the Sonar Room, the locals have always been so supportive of the show in Freo and have had some really memorable shows here on past Australian Tours, and of course I am a big fan of the Little Creatures. I absolutely love WA and I’ve got a few days of downtime after the show so looking forward to checking out some of the countryside, definitely gonna juice me with good vibes to take around the Australia, Europe etc.”

Hoad has also just released 2 new albums, so he will be playing many of the new tunes on this tour and all merch will be available at the show.

Says Jay "I'm very excited about this year's tour, so many cool locations and festivals on the various legs and really excited to bring the new tunes and instruments to the fans around the world. The “Skateboard Guitar” made by my good friend Craig Koen of Port Lincoln has been stealing the show at the festivals around the world, people just can’t believe the sound that comes out of this thing!
