Jazz & Blues Collective

The Maroochy Jazz and Blues Collective are holding their second Jazz N Blues. The doors of Ocean St will open at 1:00pm, with music from 2 to 5pm by the Barry Charles Band.

Barry is an extreme vocalist. Renowned as a blues, singer and songwriter, Barry mixes it up—from Tom Waits or Buddy Guy to BB King in a seamless set of soulful classics and originals. Barry’s unique vocals, prolific song-writing and innovative guitar work have made him an icon of the Sunshine Coast community.

The band comprises the indomitable Peter 'awesome' Wells (guitarist), Parris Macleod (piano), Greg Hose (base) and Duncan Macqueen (drums).
