Jazz Concert: ANU School of Music Jazz Faculty

The cream of Canberra’s jazz scene in one very special concert, performing their original compositions as well as jazz standards. The performers are all members of the Australian National University’s School of Music Jazz Faculty, acclaimed as the best jazz school in Australia. Saxophonist John Mackey, guitarist Greg Stott, bass-player Brendan Clarke and drummer Mark Sutton are sought-after performers who appear regularly at national and international jazz festivals.

Between them, they have performed with the who’s who of the Australian jazz scene, including James Morrison, Miroslav Bukovsky and Vince Jones, as well as with an impressive roll call of international jazz musicians such as Wynton Marsalis, Ray Charles, Eugene Wright and George Shearing. A unique opportunity to experience the art of great Australian jazz performers live in concert.
