Junior Ranger World Oceans Day Beach Clean-Up

Make a difference this World Oceans Day! Join Parks Victoria Rangers in a beach litter clean up. Examine what litter we prevent ending up in Port Phillip Bay and our oceans and contribute data to a global citizen science project. Discover the impact of marine debris on Port Phillip Bay and marine life. Please meet at Gunnamatta Ocean Beach, Fingal. Continue along Truemans road into the park and you will find your ranger in the second car park near the surf life saving club.

This activity is suitable for children aged 6–12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. Sturdy footwear (no thongs or barefeet!), drinking water, hat, sunscreen and appropriate clothing are essential. Please bring gardening gloves or tongs for litter pick up.

Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.
