Make a difference this World Oceans Day! Join Parks Victoria Rangers in a beach litter clean up. Examine what litter we prevent ending up in Port Phillip Bay and our oceans and contribute data to a global citizen science project. Discover the impact of marine debris on Port Phillip Bay and marine life.

Please meet the Ranger in the carpark at the base of the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse. This activity is suitable for children aged 6–12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.

Sturdy footwear—shoes that can get wet (e.g. booties) recommended (no thongs or bare-feet!), drinking water, hat, sunscreen and appropriate clothing (e.g. rain jacket/windbreaker and beanie) are essential. Please bring gardening gloves or tongs for litter pick up.

Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.
