Kit Goodman! A Good Man: Skewers the classic noir mystery, and more besides.

If you've ever felt personally victimised by PTV, this is the show for you.

There's murder in the air above the streets of Melbourne. But on ground level, someone has been travelling on public transport without a valid ticket! Only Kit Goodman, the most chiselled detective at Victoria Police, can save the city and get the trams back on track. But when there’s a killer around every corner, not even the best man could do it alone. With his masculinity on the line (the Upfield line), Mr Goodman is not happy about entering into a new partnership with PTV’s most ruthless Authorised Officer.

After a side-splitting season in the 2019 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Kit Goodman is back by popular demand for The Butterfly Club’s Queer Play Festival. Written and directed by Emily White, this noir-inspired Melbourne satire features a vast array of colourful and queer characters—from the femme fatale to the elf queen who lives in the basement of Brunswick Police Station, this show has something for everyone (even straight people).

Remember to touch on your Myki for this gay foray into murder and intrigue. Kit Goodman! A Good Man opens on the 12th August and runs for five nights only. Bookings recommended.

"[Kit Goodman! A Good Man] is a fast-paced, funny and smart take on the traditionally male-dominated detective genre, complete with sex, violence, drag, and PTV." - The Dialog
