Last Chance: Get the Facts On My Health Record

Come along to this "Last Chance" information session just one day before the opt out deadline to learn out about the benefits and risks of My Health Record and work out what’s right for you. Experts and consumers from Health Consumers NSW and the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) will discuss:

- What does this mean for doctors and health consumers
- My Health Record privacy and system security
- The potential legal implications for people living with chronic health diagnoses including people who inject drugs (PWID) and people who live with a criminal history or are involved with the criminal justice system.

My Health Record is intended to put health consumers in control of their health care by keeping track of important health information all in one place. But there have been community concerns about risks to privacy and data security.
