Forming in the early 2000s, the band took their name from one of their biggest inspirations, Linda McCartney. "We were all playing in different original bands at the time and gravitated towards each other through our mutual love of seventies soft-rock and power pop," bass player James Batchelor said. "Linda is an extension of our friendship and enduring passion for this music."
