Kiwi soulbird Lola Sola comes to Newcastle for the first time to share her new single and video, 'Get It' as part of her solo AU and NZ national tour. Lola Sola is a kiwi singer-songwriter with a dynamic vocal range and emotive lyrics; blending folk, soul and blues.

Now based in Sydney, Australia, She has released one studio album ('Walking Back from Hell' - 2016), 2 EP's ('Wild' - 2014, 'All I Need' - 2018) and most recently her video and single 'get it'.

She has enjoyed touring extensively throughout NZ and Australia for the past 3 years and she has successfully crowdfunded twice; to produce and tour her EP 'Wild' in 2015, and to fund her first music video for song 'Swim' which was filmed in West Auckland lead by kiwi director and actress Gal Hochman in 2017.

"Unguarded and honest in it's soaring simplicity, all I need, is a brilliant snapshot of an incredible songwriter captured in their purest form." - Laundry Echo, ACT

“...Raw, soulful and full of emotion. The goose bumps were back, this girl is good for my soul.” - Live’n’loungin, NSW

"[Walking back from Hell] is raw, jammed packed full of soul and emotion. Lolas cool sultry voice paired with her sentimental songwriting creates haunting tracks." - Muzic.net.nz, NZ
