Mexico to America

To celebrate the launch of Corazón Tequila (aged in Buffalo Trace whiskey barrels), we’re hustling with a slightly-inappropriate, but ever-so immersive 'Mexico to America’ event every Thursday throughout May between two of Perth’s most loved venues; Caballitos and Varnish on King.

Kicking off at Caballitos Perth, you’ll enjoy a Tommy’s margarita on arrival, before wrapping your mouths around some delicious totpos and tacos as you sample the core Tequila Corazon range. As you prepare to flee Mexico with your amigos, you’ll be given Dutch courage in the form of an exclusive sample of the limited edition Reposado rested in Buffalo Trace barrels. Hola!

Then you'll cross the border into the land of the free…well, more specifically, tucked into the basement of Perth's most awarded American whiskey joint, Varnish on King. Here you’ll get a taste for the American Dream with Buffalo Trace Bourbon and freshly pressed apple on arrival followed with a cheeky nip of Sazerac Rye—accompanied with Wagyu fat washed potatoes, tendons and of course, some iconic Varnish wings.

Well, that’s assuming you manage to avoid Trump and his goddamn wall along the way. Will you get your VISA into the US approved? There’s only one way to find out.

This unique Mexico to America event will run exclusively in May as part of the City of Perth’s Let’s Thursday Like We Friday campaign. Tickets are available for the below dates, with each event starting from 6pm.
