Mid-Autumn Festival Dinner 2019

The Western Australia Chinese Petroleum Association (WACPA) is delighted to hold our special Mid-Autumn Festival dinner. Celebrated since the early Tang dynasty, the Mid-Autumn or Moon Festival is held when the moon is believed to be the biggest and fullest, an auspicious time to undertake rituals leading to a bumper harvest in the coming year. Celebrate this event with traditional sichuanese hotpot to symbolise the moon and unity in the shared culinary experience.
