The course is structured to teach you how to meditate by yourself and become more mindful everyday. It aims to give you the skills to use meditation to reduce stress, improve sleep, enhance mental clarity and increase quality of life. Each 1.5-hr weekly class includes 2–4 meditations with theory, guidance and discussion.
We introduce four main techniques that teach body relaxation and mental calm and awareness.

- Breath Tranquility
- Body-scan Relaxation
This course is cumulative, gradually moving from theory into longer guided meditations using multiple techniques. Time is given to individual discussion and feedback, and offers the opportunity to reflect on results and progress.
You are likely to get good results from the very first class, but just like any skill, meditation takes practice to learn. We suggest 10 minutes most days, either in one sitting or made up of several shorter sessions throughout the day.
During the course we encourage you to meditate in chairs.
