Miss Adventure with JJ Bailey

Miss Adventure (Canberra) are coming to Melbourne for one night only to share their unique blend of contemporary jazz/folk with you and the good people of the Open Studio.

A duo consisting of Ruth O'Brien and Damian Ashcroft, Miss Adventure forms officially in late 2018, but have been playing and writing together for several years. They met in 2012 while studying music in Canberra and bonded quickly over a shared interest in Jazz music and its various offspring. After graduating they started playing professionally around Canberra which led to their opening the Australia Celebrates Live concert in 2015 in support of Jimmy Barnes.

They are supported by local Melbourne artist JJ Bailey. Often found performing along the South Bank, JJ shares Miss Adventure's interest in jazz and blues music and will open the show with some of her own original tunes.
