M@SM presents Miss Monica & The Loquacious Gentlemen.

MM & The LG’s have performed at festivals, private functions as well as some of Sydney’s coolest inner-west live music venues, including Camelot Lounge, Leadbelly, Golden Barley and Miss Peaches. Miss Monica (born in Portsmouth, Virginia and raised in Los Angeles, California,) has supported such legends as Tony Joe White, the Cruel Sea and Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds.

The Loquacious Gentlemen are four of Sydney’s finest musicians—Johnny Gauci on piano, organ, accordion, Nick Meredith on guitar, Tommy Jones on double bass & Luke Herbert on drums—all career session musicians, teachers & performers.

MM & The LG’s perform the hits of Patsy Cline, Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, Sugar Pie De Santo, Wanda Jackson, Nina Simone, Kris Kristofferson, Charlie Rich, Bobby Gentry and many more.

Miss Monica - vocalist (The Stepfords, White Trash Mamas, & The Prickles)
