Moomba Festival 2019: Skate Park Events

The Australian Skateboarding League national finals, run by YMCA Action Sports, will see some of the country’s top skateboarders battle it out for a global ranking and a generous prize.

Showcasing the country’s best youth skaters and future Olympians at Moomba Long Weekend. Talented skaters as young as seven and up to 35 years old will battle it out at Riverslide Skate Park from Friday afternoon through Monday evening.

Skate, scooter and BMX masters will also be on hand offering free clinics, from Saturday to Monday, 11am-1pm, passing on their knowledge to rising stars of all ages. Spectators can also cheer on their favourite skate park professionals on Sunday (Pro-Scooter Competition) and Monday (Pro-BMX Jam) between 1 and 8pm.

Friday:
4pm–9pm: Australian Skateboard League Warm Up & Qualifying Rounds

Saturday:
11am–1pm: Skateboard Clinics
1pm–8pm: Australian Skateboard League Finals

Sunday:
11am–1pm: Scooter Clinics
1pm–8pm: MPG Moomba Madness

Monday
11am–1pm: BMX Clinics
1pm–8pm: Skull Candy Moomba Pro BMX Jam
