Get ready for an afternoon and evening of fun for the whole family! Moon Lantern Parade is back in 2019 and will showcase hundreds of hand-held lamps and over 50 giant lanterns including the stunning 40 metre Hong Kong Dragon, all set to a live music performance by Australian-Chinese music collective Emissary of Tang.
Bring a picnic rug and arrive early to settle in and watch performances from popular Adelaide community groups across three different stages, or catch roving acts around Elder Park. Enjoy artist workshops and craft activities, and explore a trail of bright and colourful lanterns in the lead-up to Australia’s biggest lantern parade!
Adelaide’s best-known food trucks will return with delicious cuisine from around the world and the night will finish with a spectacular fireworks display.
