Music On a Market Sunday – EphenStephen Baroque Guitars

Baroque Guitars in October Market Sunday Concert.

The Music on a Market Sunday features Local guitar duo EphenStephen with a baroque program. Steve Tafra and Steve Thorneycroft will be playing arrangements of Handel’s Suite II from the Water Music and the French Suite III by Bach. The two Steves are among Armidale’s leading musicians and encompass a side gamut of styles.

This concert highlights their interest in the baroque period which has previousy been exemplified by their arrangement of Bach’s Goldberg Variations which the have performed in the New England Bach Festival and released on CD. This is a great opportunity to hear them at their best. Admission to the concert is free, though donations are encouraged. Tea and sausages will be available at the Uniting Church before the concert.
