An afternoon of free music, dance and cultural demonstrations to celebrate NAIDOC Week.

Join us for a free community celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture at our NAIDOC Week Showcase. Headlining the event will be dynamic young Indigenous Australian singer/songwriter Adam James, who will make a welcome return to the outdoor stage at RPAC.

James will perform a selection of songs from his latest TSA award-winning album, Hit & Run which pays homage to influencers including Neil Young, Jackson Browne, Bread and Paul Kelly. He will be joined on the stage by emerging Quandamooka artists, to fill your afternoon with an exciting selection of music.

You can also look forward to a range of cultural demonstrations and activities including a traditional smoking ceremony and Welcome to Country, Indigenous dance workshops with the Yulu Burri Ba Dancers, and an Indigenous cooking demonstration with the chance to taste some of the creations at the end.

This will be a fabulous afternoon of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Full details will be available on this page the month before the showcase. Full details of the event can be found on the RPAC website.
