Nick Abbey Phantoms Album Launch

A fixture of the Perth jazz scene and well known for his contribution to the striking original music of Trisk and Abbey|Foster|Falle, renowned Perth bassist Nick Abbey tonight launches his debut album ‘Phantoms’. This highly-anticipated release reunites this National Jazz Awards Finalist and three-time WAM Jazz Song of the Year Winner (and nominee for the upcoming 2019 WAM Song of the Year) with the incredible talents of his long-time collaborators and close friends Chris Foster (piano) and Daniel Susnjar (drums). ‘Phantoms’ is the exciting culmination of an intense period of composition, taking advantage of the trio’s unique musical kinship and trademark blend of dynamic rhythmic interplay, lush harmonies, and emotive melodies to forge a stellar and impassioned new album. This will be an incredible night of music and is absolutely not-to-be-missed!
