Ageing is inevitable…but you can exert some control over how well you age by eating a nutrient-packed diet and staying active while ageing.

On Tuesday 10 December from 11am to 1pm, Bethanie Fields Retirement Village is welcoming people to join them for a free Nutrition and Well-Being Seminar with guest speaker, accredited practicing dietician and accredited nutritionist, Debra Wicks. Seniors will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of good nutrition and how it can improve health and well-being.

Debra’s passion is in helping people embrace healthy eating principles into their everyday lives so that it is one less challenge to face.

As we age, the need for specific nutrients may increase or even decrease. This educational morning will teach participants how to modify meals to suit changing needs, and it will explain why protein and calories are essential to a good diet.

Following the seminar there will be complimentary light refreshments. RSVP is essential.
