Ageing is inevitable…but you can exert some control over how well you age by eating a nutrient-packed diet and staying active while ageing.

Bethanie Waters Retirement Village is welcoming people to join them for a free Nutrition and Well-Being Seminar with guest speaker, Accredited Practicing Dietician, Karin Cook. Seniors will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of good nutrition and how it can improve health and well-being.

Karin has more than 20 years’ experience working all over the world including South Africa, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Karin has worked in the areas of chronic disease management, oncology and gut health in both private practice as well as the clinical and community sectors.

Karin is passionate about making a difference through nutrition education—empowering people in the management of their health to ultimately enhance their quality of life and well-being.

As we age, the need for specific nutrients may increase or even decrease. This educational morning will teach participants how to modify meals to suit changing needs, and it will explain why protein and calories are essential to a good diet.

Morning tea provided and RSVP is essential.

RSVP essential: Contact Bethanie on 131 151 or visit Bethanie website.
