One Day In Fremantle

The City of Fremantle is proud to bring One Day In Fremantle back this summer with ARIA Award-winner Montaigne lined up to headline the event.

Smoking ceremony at Bathers Beach: 8am–9am
Cultural activities at Kidogo Arthouse: 9:30am–1:30pm
Main stage at Esplanade Reserve: 2pm–7:30pm

The event will begin with a smoking ceremony at Bathers Beach at 8am, followed by a host of Aboriginal cultural workshops and activities for everyone to enjoy at Kidogo Arthouse from 9:30am to 1:30pm.

Montaigne will headline the celebrations after recently releasing her latest single 'For Your Love'. The 23-year-old won an ARIA award in 2016 for best breakthrough artist following the success of her debut album Glorious Heights, which featured the singles 'Because I Love You' and 'In the Dark'.

Joining Montaigne will be up-and-coming soul singer Adrian Eagle, the mesmerising Emily Wurramara as well as local legends The Hunting Birds and The Spring Peaks. The Welcome to Country will be delivered by Dr. Richard Walley OAM and Marie Taylor and the event will be hosted by the talented Gina Williams.

In addition to great music there will be a range of free family-friendly activities to enjoy throughout the day as well as delicious cuisines from around the world.
