Peter Vadiveloo and Yolanda Ingley II

Nu-Folk singer-songwriter Peter Vadiveloo is a captivating performer. His music is funky, folky, bluesy and worldy. At times, he will make you feel uncomfortable with songs that shine a light on the darker nature of our country with regards to refugees and indigenous Australians. And at other times he will make you laugh with songs that are witty, clever and frivolous. Peter weaves his magic using voice, guitar, percussion and looper pedal.

Yolanda performs an earthy mix of soul, blues and roots music. Her latest album is 'Woman Got to Cry'. Basement Discs recently put the album atop it's 'Summer Essential Listening' list.
