Philip H. Bleek considers himself a song-writer-singer and not the other way around.

Meaning the words you sing and the story you tell is far more important then how loud your delivery is or how high the notes you can hit. As a matter of fact if you want them to pay attention it's best not to raise your voice at all.

Expect a night of quiet fingerpicking on an acoustic guitar, the shimmer of a slide on a resonator and quite a few verses describing the fleeting past of a selected memory.
