Heaven is a place on Earth, and this summer that place is Popchops. As part of the Midsumma festival Popchops are throwing an all-inclusive, all-sweaty celebration of poptimism. It’s a safe-space for queers, kweens, beards, babes, straights and anyone else who flocks to the d-floor when they hear their favourite banger. All you need is positivity. And a little glitter.
At Greenwood Loft on January 19th it’s time to grab your rompers, tube-tops and double denim. We don’t like to think of pop music as a guilty pleasure – at Popchops we spin everything from Whitney to Britney, Kylie to Miley and Rih-Rih to Mimi. To quench your inherent thirst we’re also offering drink specials AF all night long with Dan and Andy on the decks ‘till we see the sunlight.
Like pop music itself, Popchops is an escape from reality. A night to be cool for the summer, hotter than hell and sweatin’ till ur clothes come off.
This is the Midsumma event not to be missed. I mean you could but why would you want to?
