Rhema FM's Open Day

In February this year, after 34 years of broadcasting from Newcastle West, local community radio station Rhema FM relocated to their new premises in Warabrook. They plan to celebrate on Saturday the 15th of June, 2019 by hosting an Open Day with tours of the new studios, free kids activities and the official ribbon cutting by a representative of Newcastle City Council.

This free event will kick off at 10am and run through till 2pm. You can take a tour of the new studios and see what goes on behind the scenes of the radio station as well as meet your favourite announcer and have a go at presenting your own radio program! The official 'cutting of the ribbon' will commence at 1pm and there will be a heap of family activities planned as well including:

- Jumping Castle
- Face painting
- Sausage Sizzle
- Coffee Cart
- Live Music
- Showbags
