Forget the Melbourne Cup this November, Australia’s most unique racing experience returns to Rockingham!

Established in 2016, the now iconic Rockingham Beach Cup combines two of WA’s most beloved pastimes—a day at the races, and a day at the beach, to showcase Rockingham’s natural coastal beauty and WA’s thoroughbred racing industry.

This celebration of city and sea will be amplified in 2019 by the newly completed Rockingham Foreshore Revitalisation and the premium beachside marquees on offer. Join the exclusive Palm Beach Club marquee with fashion shows and gourmet food and drink served right at the finish line.

For a more relaxed and chilled atmosphere head along to Waikiki Luau for food trucks and a bar in an open air setting. Check out the free community festival with food, market stalls, live music and free children's activities to keep the entire family entertained.

Thundering hooves, white sands and seaside spirit make this a must on WA’s social calendar. Media personality Mark Readings will MC the event with the race to be called by legendary race caller Darren McAullay. Proof the band will perform at the exclusive Palm Beach Club marquee, while the free community festival will play host to a range of live music, entertainment and children's activities.
