To mark International Women's Day, safe steps Family Violence Response Centre is hosting a screening of the cult classic, Thelma and Louise. 

All guests will take home a great gift bag, valued at more than $100. Items have been generously donated by brands such as Aesop, Kester Black and Peppermint Magazine. There will be a live raffle with prizes up for grabs including linen sheets by Bed Threads, jewellery from Samantha Wills, Mesa Verde drinks package and a $200 voucher for Welcome to Thornbury. All profits from the evening will go direct to safe steps, for the ongoing support of women suffering from family violence. 

safe steps is committed to ensuring all women and children are able to live free from family violence by providing emergency access to support and services. In 2018, safe steps 24/7 crisis response line responded to 104,189 calls and provided 31,725 emergency bed nights to women and children. safe steps’ ultimate goal is the elimination of family violence.

Doors open at 7:45pm for an 8:30pm screening.
