Sea Shepherd Melbourne's Ocean Defence Tour is back for 2019 with a huge festival fundraiser.

Sea Shepherd has been on the front lines of direct action marine conservation for over 40 years. Given most of our air comes from our oceans, they are our primary life support. Yet their future and ours hangs by a thread, due to three main threats—illegal fishing, plastic pollution, and climate change.

Come see and hear firsthand what Sea Shepherd are doing to tackle the big three threats, around Australia’s coastlines and beyond. This is a fight we cannot afford to lose, for if we lose this fight, we all lose. At Sea Shepherd Melbourne's biggest marine conservation event of the year, we are proud to bring you legendary Captain Alistair Allan!

The day will bring you a ship-full of family fun and activities, from guided tours of retired flagship vessel The MV Steve Irwin, to vegan food trucks and market stalls, live music, some not to miss silent auction and raffle items, ocean themed art, speakers, kids activities, official Sea Shepherd merchandise, a volunteer fuelled vegan bake sale, workshops, and more!
