Shanakee was formed in 1994 by Kieran O'Connell. They play a mix of their own original songs penned by Kieran and traditional Irish folk music and songs. All of the musicians that make up Shanakee have had vast and varied experience in different genres and styles of music and bands and it is all blended together to make Shanakee a fantastic live act.
