As the winter weather rolls in and the temperature starts to drop, The Salvation Army and Karrinyup Shopping Centre are calling on the Perth community to dig deep and donate a piece of warm clothing, for the annual Shed Your Winter Coat Appeal.
Running from 5 June to 1 July, the appeal is a call-out to the people of Perth to donate pre-loved or new coats, jackets, jumpers, baby and children’s clothing, blankets or doonas. The donated items will go to individuals and families in desperate need, experiencing financial difficulties, unemployment and homelessness in Western Australia.
Every coat matters by simply donating one warm item to the Shed Your Winter Coat Appeal, you will be making a big difference to those in desperate need during the cold winter months. All donated warm clothing and blankets must be in good condition, laundered and clean.
The donation box will be located near David Jones and the Customer Service Desk.
