Soul Sacrifice - Santana's 50th Anniversary Celebration

Soul Sacrifice - Australia's premier Santana fan band will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the release of Santana’s debut self-titled album by performing the entire album track by track. Santana wowed audiences at Woodstock in 1969 and was the only band to have played there who hadn't already released an album. They followed up the performance by releasing “Santana” approximately a month later, which was a massive hit and the rest, as they say, is history. Come experience a night of quality Latin rock and soul where dancing is a must!

Soul Sacrifice is a seven-piece outfit that pays genuine tribute to the great music of Santana. For the band, it's all about the music and entertaining the patrons by putting on a great show focusing on classic Santana (late 60's/70's) with a splash of the later stuff, covering Latin rock, jazz, funk, Latin soul and rock genres. Classics such as Black Magic Woman, Evil Ways, Oye Como Va & Smooth create the infectious grooves and rhythms of Santana.
