Spoonbill: Canopy Album Launch

Join Spoonbill for a journey through cinematic textures, warped sound design and chunky grooves with his signature wonkadelic glitch-funk for the special launch of his fifth studio album, ‘Canopy.’ Expect a festival vibe at Melbourne’s iconic Meat Market as installation and illuminated art from Pelican Studio sets the scene for UKI, the robotic artcar stage, to take you on a wild sensory ride.

Featuring two sets from the Spoonbill Ensemble (downbeat and party set) alongside a host of local talent in a nod to Melbourne’s reputation as a pioneering force in the global electronic music community, this is an event to get your party pants ready for.

The first announced support act is Monkey Marc, a producer with a fiery activist background and a history of writing some of the most progressive music around. His signature sound weaves together reggae, dancehall and hip hop with a strong political focus.

More legendary support acts will be announced soon. Boutique Food and drink will be available all evening with doors opening from 5pm for a spectacular show set to enrapture all your senses and sensibilities.
