From Friday May 3 to Sunday May 19, shoes and lifestyle brand TOMS will tell the stories of three visionary local change makers on the walls of its Little Collins Street store. The gallery-like installation comes in celebration of the launch of Stand for Tomorrow campaign, the latest evolution of TOMS’ longstanding commitment to giving. This new initiative will see TOMS invest project-based funding into the most pressing social issues modern society faces.

During the two-week installation, visitors will enjoy thought-provoking words, photography and video detailing the vision and insights of Marcus Crook, Caitlin Figueiredo and Titan Debirioun. From founding social enterprises fighting youth homelessness; earning recognition from Michelle Obama for the promotion of gender equality, to taking a vocal stance against media-led racial vilification, visitors to the Little Collins space will leave with an understanding of how these three Australians are paving the way to a more just society.

Interactive elements will be on display, like a walkbox installation, where guests are invited to take their shoes off and walk with jerry cans in hand—delivering a small insight into the physical impact endured by those who need to travel to access clean water.

For every pair of shoes purchased during the two-week period, TOMS will donate a pair of shoes to HoMie, streetwear label and social enterprise co-founded by Marcus Crook. TOMS will also give out mystery gifts with every purchase (until stock lasts), and prizes will be awarded to lucky guests engaging with the immersive experiences on display.

The Little Collins space will also play home to a pop-up HoMie store throughout the installation, allowing visitors to purchase items of clothing from the label’s most popular lines.
