Stephen Tafra Solo Recital

Solo Guitar in Market Sunday Concert.

The Music on a Market Sunday Concert features guitarist Stephen Tafra. He will be performing music by Torroba, Takemitsu, de Falla and Sor. The music is variously descriptive, depicting castles, ponds, tombs and magic flutes.

Stephen Tafra is one of Armidale’s leading performers, both as a soloist, half of duo EphenStephen, and a member of a number of other groups. He has released two CDs with EphenStephen. This is a great opportunity to hear some eclectic and fascinating repertoire performed by a master musician.

Admission to the concert is free, though donations are encouraged. Tea and sausages will be available at the Uniting Church before the concert.
