A conversation on the couch followed by supper is part of the programme at Stories on Stage. This month you'll meet Louise Allan, author of The Sisters' Song.

Louise’s début novel, The Sisters’ Song, was published by Allen and Unwin in January 2018. In 2014, she was awarded a Varuna Residential Fellowship and the manuscript was shortlisted for the 2014 City of Fremantle—TAG Hungerford Award. Louise is the 2018 recipient of the Tina Kane Emergent Writer Award. The Sisters’ Song came from a short story Louise wrote in 2010 that she knew had a much longer story attached. In 2012, she picked it up again, and six years and countless drafts later it was published.

Stories on Stage is a series of evening ‘meet the author’ events held in Theatre 2. Each event includes an in-conversation with fellow author Monique Mulligan, a Q and A session, meet and greet over supper, book sales from Rockingham Books and the chance to get books signed.

Tickets include supper.
