It’s not your usual spot for a beach party but the deck chairs and snow cones will be out in force as families head to Caboolture for a free Sunset Beach Party.

Wriggle your toes in the sand, make a sand art masterpiece, or kick back and enjoy live music and ice cream while dreaming about life in the Hamptons. Be inspired by the latest ideas in casual coastal living and beachy décor on show in the eight new homes opening in the Riverbank Display Village. Rugby League legend Darren Lockyer will swap his sprigs for steel caps when he makes a surprise visit.

He won’t be kicking a footy but rather introducing people to his newest passion—the Lockyer 3.2—the first in a collection of Lockyer-inspired family homes to hit the Queensland market. Visitors will get the chance to meet their legend by visiting the Ausmar Homes display home between 3:30 to 5:30pm.

The Nova Casanovas will drop in to say hi and there will be yummy food and a treasure hunt with great prizes. The boutique Riverbank community, from award-winning residential land developers Peet Limited, has attracted a unique collection of display homes many of which are not on show anywhere else.

Visitors can explore their new home dreams as they enjoy roving performers, or sip an iced tea, snow cone and free fairy floss. There will be sand sculptures, beach games, and an inflatable water slide (for under 8s) or get into the groove with a Henna tattoo on a poolside deckchair, under the festoon lanterns.

About Riverbank
Riverbank is a boutique residential community covering 150 hectares of prime river front land at Caboolture South.
