Buddhist Path of Purification-Benefitting Beings Through Wisdom Event.

Purifying our mind of negative karma gives a more positive and spacious mind. You will be given explanation of the 2500 year old profound tantric meditation of purification and be led through some sessions in the practice. By applying effort in this practice your mind should start to feel lighter and more spacious and you will feel a greater connection with your divine nature. There will be breaks between sessions and you can join us for lunch to share your experiences. Please register through Meetup.

Look forward to seeing you!

Kind regards,
Alan

Please come 15 mins early so that we can start on time as a group.

FPMT
FPMT organization was founded in 1975 by Lama Thubten Yeshe (1935-84) and Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche, both Tibetan Buddhist monks. The Foundation is devoted to preserving and spreading Mahayana Buddhism worldwide by creating opportunities to listen, reflect, meditate, practice, and actualize the unmistaken teachings of the Buddha and based on that experience spreading the Dharma to sentient beings.

Benefitting Beings through Wisdom was started under the name "Free Buddhist Philosophy" and has been running since early 2017 set up by Alan Carter who has been a Buddhist in the Tibetan Tradition for 24 years. In 2018 Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche gave it a new name. All courses including ones held at Brisbane Square Library can be found on meetup.
