For 14 years, Taste Great Southern has been celebrating the amazing food, wine, people and attractions of the Great Southern. It is an 11-day festival over 2 weekends that boasts an incredible line up of more than 20 not to be missed culinary experiences.

The festival lineup includes long lunches, degustations, premium pairings, festivals, community markets, free events, award winning wine and local produce tastings, just to name a few.

This year’s chef pool is impressive and contains many of the incredible talent of the Great Southern and beyond. Local names include Amy Hamilton, Anna Gare with WA talent including Paul Iskov, Charlie Vargas, Scott Brannigan and Kenny McHardy with more to be announced soon.

And with the amazing produce from the region, it is an amazing line up. Think fresh, natural, seasonal and exceptional produce like marron, oysters and seafood, wagyu and lamb, asparagus, vegetables and dairy products.

The award winning wine and wine makers of the Great Southern are shining bright on the world stage with their spectacular varietals; Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Riesling. Expect to see, taste and enjoy them at many of the events.

Travel packages are available as a self drive option and with Taste Great Southern positioned just before the school holiday, why not stay longer and see all the beautiful natural attractions such as the tree top walk and The Gap. There is plenty to see, do, eat and drink in the Great Southern!
