The Amazing Maths Race

These July holidays, THYNK Academy's Amazing Maths Race returns to Fairwater. Children will compete in teams to race around the world solving a series of mathematical and logical challenges. Fully qualified teachers will help the children develop the team work, flexibility, patience and persistence required to excel in this exciting educational adventure.

Teachers will illustrate how maths is embedded throughout everyday life. They will guide the children as they tackle real-world problems which activate their creative and critical thinking capabilities. Success in the race will be measured by the impact of each teams ideas, their ability to execute those ideas, but most importantly each child’s personal learning journey.
