​The Genius of John Rodgers shares the incredible story of one of Queensland’s most renowned and eclectic musicians, Helpmann-Award nominee, multi-instrumentalist and composer John Rodgers. Having worked with Queensland Music Festival since 2001, no other composer has encapsulated the sound of this State with more wit, beauty and imagination than John.

From the brilliance of his song writing to the breadth of his musical vision, the concert brings a number of John’s outstanding creative collaborators together with Queensland Symphony Orchestra as they reminisce with this musical genius and showcase his incredible body of work, for the first time.
