Calling all green thumbs! Following the huge success of their first market in June, The Plant Market is popping up again at West Village on Sunday 8 September, just in time for spring!

Whether you’re looking to expand your plant brood, stepping into the greenery realm for the very first time or needing to replace your previous houseplant that met a very dry demise, then this is the day for you.

Find your perfect indoor and outdoor plants, get blooming good deals on flowers and perhaps a bit herbaceous with a range of herbs to start that balcony garden you always said you would.

Your favourite retailers from the first market will be returning, including All the Green Things, Max and Mort, Flossie Florals, Luvia Designs and Succulent Mummas to name a few with more ferns, florals, plants and kokedamas then you can poke a stick at. Don’t forget to bring your coins—this time The Plant Market will have a gold coin donation Potting Station where you can have your plants and pots potted for you! Genius!

After some crafts alongside your plants? You can enjoy browsing botanical bling from September Creative and gorgeous handmade ceramics from Billeta. There’s also free face painting for the kids to enjoy, making this the perfect Sunday family event.

For those who loved getting their green fingers on with the epic workshops, this round won’t disappoint! West Village are hosting their infamous West Village Gardener events, where resident gardener Adrian Lenthall will take you through the sensory garden to share his knowledge and tips on all things plants, pots and vegetables gardens!

For those looking for a plant they can’t kill, Lazer Unicorn will be hosting a ‘houseplant love’ earring making workshop where you’ll create your own pair of layered acrylic monstera earrings. Succulents more your thing? Look no further than Succulent Mummas workshops creating mini succulents wreaths for you to take home to enjoy!

It wouldn’t be The Plant Market without their popular adoption centre, which will once again return to West Village! If you own a plant that needs more TLC then you can provide or maybe it’s just not the right foliage for you, you can drop your unloved plant off to be loved by someone else. No plant is turned away (but please no plants with bug infestations).
