The Slow Fashion Market is coming to Canberra!
This special event is a sustainable and ethical fashion market for new clothing. It is an event for people who care about how their fashion is made and who made it. The one day event will take place indoors with 30+ independent Australian brands (many of whom you've never seen in Canberra before!).
The stallholders are those that produce fashion and accessories (mostly women’s, with some men’s and children’s) with an emphasis on quality and durability, and who use materials that are sustainable and non-toxic, and who either make the fashion themselves or pay their workers fair wages.
The Slow Fashion Market is for new fashion (not second-hand—we have an event for that—Round She Goes!).
Kids under 12 are free. The stallholder line up will be announced soon. The Slow Fashion Market is organised by the team behind The The Makers & Shakers Market and Round She Goes Melbourne's Preloved Fashion Market.
