To celebrate the winter solstice and the shortest day of the year, Rachel will be joined by actor Paul Armstrong to present a special concert celebrating winter, linking spoken word to Bach’s dark and lush fifth suite for solo cello. Be prepared for an intimate concert in an extraordinary venue—it will be a night you won’t want to miss!

Just so you know…

There’s no public transport to this venue. The floors are uneven, and the tunnel is open at both ends (although the concert is in the middle of this very long tunnel), so you may need to dress warmly if you feel the cold, and be prepared to walk carefully. Sensible shoes are recommended! There are no toilet facilities in the tunnel—you’ll need to catch the lift up to where you enter the complex. There is also no disabled access.

By purchasing this ticket you agree to abide by all instructions given to you by Bach in the Dark or North Sydney Council staff. You understand that you are entering a former industrial site with non-level flooring, open guttering and possible water dripping.
