The Substitutes – The KinkSize Hits Show

The Substitutes began many years ago as a Kinks tribute band called Lotsa Kinks but perhaps unsurprisingly demand was not high and so they morphed into the less focused but much more successful ‘60s tribute band, The Substitutes.

In 2019, they will celebrate the full circle of their existence by presenting the Kinksize Hits Show. They will be playing 75 minutes of Kinky masterpieces across two sets featuring some genuine brass backing courtesy of Brass Attack. They will support The Kinks by playing the best songs from four contemporary rivals: The Who, The Yardbirds, The Hollies and The Move in a separate set.
