Traditional Sunset Ceremony

Head down to Balmoral to celebrate Aboriginal culture with this special free community event presented by Back to Country Aboriginal Corporation, led by Yuin elder, Uncle Max Dulumunmun Harrison.

The event will include traditional Indigenous games, native cooking demonstrations, weaving, Yidaki sound healing, ochre painting, traditional fire lighting, whale dreaming, dance workshops and the highlight—a Traditional Sunset Ceremony and Back to Country Dance performance.

Delicious native BBQ low and slow smoked proteins and sweets by Mirritya Mundya Indigenous Twist will be available for purchase.

Bookings to attend the event are not required, however bookings are essential for participation in the cultural workshops.
